Score!

I've been a fan of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series since the first book (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief) was published. I started subscribing to his blog on my reader this summer and learned that he was giving away class sets of T-shirts. The T-shirts (and his offer) are described here.

Today was the first day we were allowed to go to school, so I went and dropped off a ton of stuff I had purchased this summer--composition books, 48 boxes of crayons, etc. When I entered my classroom, I saw a large box with the Penguin publishing logo on it. It was a box of 30 T-shirts! Yippee!!--I feel like I won the lottery. Rick's a former classroom teacher, so he knows how much this will be appreciated. It definitely made my day!
